Saudi Arabia has money and lots of it, as they have shown in the last year by signing some of the most important players in world soccer, convincing them to earn millions in the Saudi Pro League. However, there have been some signings that have undoubtedly fallen short and Neymar certainly tops that list.

The Brazilian star is a talented player like few others in the history of soccer. He won it all with FC Barcelona and in the Brazilian national team he has already surpassed the legendary Pelé as the top scorer in history. However, throughout his career, his indiscipline, lack of professionalism and constant injuries have prevented him from reaching what would have been his highest level and currently keep him away from the pitches.

Last summer, Neymar decided to leave European soccer and leave PSG to join players like Karim Benzema, Roberto Firmino and N'Golo Kanté in their adventure in Saudi Arabia. In that sense, Ney accepted a millionaire salary offer that has him earning more than €100 million a year at Al-Hilal, a team for which he has barely played five games.

The reason for this is that Neymar suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus in his knee, which will cause him to miss even this summer's Copa America. However, his club's anger lies in the fact that the Brazilian does not seem to be doing his best to recover, quite the opposite since he has since been seen partying and not so much working on his recovery. However, it seems that Al-Hilal finally got demanding and have asked him to report to them, as due to the investment they made in him, they are urging him to recover and be able to play as soon as possible.
