Sport Business reports that Liverpool is set to announce a huge kit deal with Adidas that will begin in the summer of 2025. Liverpool's deal with Nike expires at the end of next season, and they earn less than $62 million. The deal with Adidas will be worth more than $62 million but less than $112 million a year. The deal with Adidas is set to last for the next five years, starting in 2025. Some players Liverpool has in mind to bring in this summer are Mohammed Kudus from West Ham United and Rodrygo from Real Madrid.

Liverpool has been sponsored by Adidas on two occasions in the club's history. From 1985 to 1996, the German brand sponsored the Liverpool kits. Adidas returned in 2006, and it lasted for four years as it ended in 2010. Liverpool was with New Balance from 2015 to 2020 until Nike signed a five-year contract with the club in 2020.

The money could also go to new managers since Jurgen Klopp will depart from the club this summer. It is unknown who the next coach for the Reds will be, but if these don't work out in the first season, the club could have funds to find another manager available like Xabi Alonso. The Reds were looking to appoint Ruben Amorim from Sporting CP soon, who has a release clause worth more than $12 million but since reports suggested the Portuguese manager was linked to a move to West Ham United, a new candidate emerged.
