Now Messi messages another fan on Instagram to recognize a podcast he thought was funny.

Diego Leco is a presenter of an Argentine program called "Antes que Nadie," and he revealed that Lionel Messi had messaged him about how he had found the show funny. Diego Leco said, "I was driving and stopped at a traffic light. I took my phone, opened Instagram, and found a new message. It was from a verified person with the blue mark, and it was from Leo Messi. He texted me at 15:57, so I saw him at 16. It wasn't just fear, I was completely terrified. I thought it was a joke. The first thing that came to my mind was that someone heard that Messi was following us on social media, created a fake account, and sent us a message."

Messi's message read, "Hey crazy! How are you? I saw what was said about me starting to follow you. I'll be honest with you I don't know how I got on the show but I spent the whole night watching the clips and laughing. Sending you hugs and regards to everyone."

Leco said, "At that moment, I started shaking and didn't know how to respond. I spent half an hour writing my response, writing, then erasing, writing, then erasing. I sent him a message, then regretted it and deleted it."

Messi responded back to the podcaster
