Manchester United will travel to Luton Town for their 25th Premier League game of the season. Manchester United is currently 6th in the league with 41 points, and a win could get five points away from 4th. Luton Town are 17th in the league, and a win could separate them away from the relegation zone. A win for either team won't move them up a position, but it will get them closer to a big jump in the next matchday. The previous encounter between Luton Town and Manchester United was a 1-0 win for Man United at Old Trafford.

Luton Town's last Premier League game at home witnessed a 3-1 loss to Sheffield United. It was three important points for Sheffield United as they sit last in the league table, and it was their third win of the season. Luton Town had three great performances before that loss to Sheffield, when they drew 4-4 against Newcastle United away from home, beaten Brighton 4-0 at home, and beaten Everton 2-1 away from home. Luton Town's last time hosting Man United at Kenilworth Road was in 2020 in the EFL Cup, where they lost 3-0. Luton Town is only a point ahead of Everton, who sits 18th in the league with 19 points.

Manchester United has looked different in 2024 so far but in a positive light. Man United has won the past four games in all competitions, beating the likes of Newport County, Wolves, West Ham United, and Aston Villa. The win against Aston Villa resulted in a dramatic late winner from Scott McTominay. Manchester United are 6 points off 5th place Tottenham and 8 points off 4th place Aston Villa. A win could get them closer to the top 4 race as they soon will play Fulham and Manchester City next in the Premier League. In between that, they will play Nottingham Forest in the 5th round of the FA Cup.
