Liverpool will play at Anfield as EFL Carabao Cup champions when they face Southampton in the FA Cup. Jurgen Klopp brought on three youngsters from the academy and has hinted at playing more for today’s game against Southampton.

Southampton are 4th in the Championship with 67 points and are in a promotion qualification spot. Southampton are five points behind Leeds United, who are in an automatic promotion spot to the Premier League. Southampton are in poor form as they lost their last two games. Southampton arrived in this round of the FA Cup after defeating Watford 3-0 at home. The Saints will look to get their first win since beating West Brom 2-0 away from home.

Klopp makes six changes in the Liverpool team from the EFL Cup final as they play Southampton

Liverpool has Kelleher in goal with a back four of Bradley, Quansah, Van Dijk, and Tsimikas. Gomez, Clark, and McConnell are the three midfielders. Elliott, Gakpo, and Koumas are the front three.

Southampton starts with Lumley in goal with a back four of Bree, Stephens, Bednarek, and Manning. The three midfielders are Rothwell, Charles, and Aribo. Edozie, Mara, and Sulemana will be the front three for the Saints.
