Liverpool are first with 54 points and could reach 57 points with a win today against Brentford. Since Brentford was promoted in 2021, Liverpool has not won a game in Brentford stadium. Liverpool drew 3-3 in 2021 and lost 3-1 in 2023. Liverpool’s last away game in the Premier League was a 3-1 loss against Arsenal. Liverpool needs another win in the league because if they drop points, they could be overtaken by Arsenal and Manchester City, who are two points below them.
