Liverpool lead 2-1 at Anfield at halftime against Norwich City

Liverpool is currently beating Norwich City 2-1 at Anfield in the 4th round of the FA Cup. Liverpool started the game off with intensity and could've scored more goals before the first goal arrived. Norwich was defending for most of the first half.

In the 15th minute, Liverpool academy player James McConnell gave a great pass to Curtis Jones, who was inside the box. McConnell's left-footed pass met perfectly with Jones' head, who didn't think twice but to aim for the far post. The header was easily guided in the bottom low corner of the net, and Jones gave Liverpool the early lead.

Six minutes later, Norwich grabbed their first corner of the game. They did not miss the opportunity to score, as a header in the box was enough to beat Alisson. Ben Gibson met a cross by Sara and aimed the ball across the goal to beat the Brazilian keeper.

Darwin Nunez gives Liverpool the lead again and Liverpool continued to dominate the rest of the half

Six minutes after the Norwich equalizer, Darwin Nunez would get into the box and score a brilliant goal to make it 2-1. Conor Bradley displays lots of fights as he wins the ball over Norwich's McCallum and plays a one-two with Jota. Bradley rushes down the wing and plays Nunez in the middle. Nunez made the rest look easy as he drove a low-driven shot past the Norwich keeper into the bottom left corner.

Gakpo missed a great chance in the box as Bradley almost got another assist. The ball was played to the Dutch winger, but his shot was not on target. A block off the line by a Norwich defender also denied Liverpool to take a two-goal lead after Gravenberch's low shot was close. Norwich tried another attack in Liverpool's box but couldn't create danger. Liverpool lead at halftime 2-1 at Anfield and are close to the next round of the FA Cup.
