Gustavo Nunes, a Brazilian striker of just 18 years of age who is already known as 'the new Neymar', would be in the sights of big teams like Manchester City, Manchester United and even Chelsea, who are already competing for his signature. Although according to The Sun, Pep Guardiola's team is the one who would have the advantage in the race to sign him, as they claim they will offer 18 million pounds, which is equivalent to 22.3 million dollars currently.

Nunes, also known as Gustavinho, belongs to Gremio in Brazil, where he has stood out for his great qualities, as he can play all over the front line, both on the wings to be a winger or as a center forward. That is why, according to the Daily Mail, the Red Devils have sent recruiters to Brazil to take a closer look at him and monitor his progress.

Nunes' numbers this season have been impressive, especially when we remember that he is only 18 years old and that it was only in February when he was promoted to Gremio's first team, where he already has one goal and two assists in 13 appearances. His talent is enormous and his potential is even more so, which is why the Brazilian press reports that his contract has been renewed until 2028 and that there is a termination clause of 80 million pounds (almost 100 million dollars).

It is worth remembering that Gustavinho is being closely followed not only by the two Manchester clubs, but according to The Sun, teams like Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal are also interested in him. Moreover, due to his great dribbling skills and speed, in his native country he is already being compared to Neymar, a player he recently paid tribute to by celebrating a goal like him.

The value of Gustavo Nunes

While reports claim that Gremio placed a termination clause of almost 100 million dollars, the specialized portal Transfermarkt has Gustavo Nunes valued at just 2 million euros (2.1 million dollars). In that sense, there is a huge difference with his compatriot Endrick, who a couple of years ago was signed by Real Madrid, the club he will join this summer. Endrick, at 17 years of age, is valued at 55 million euros ($58.3 million) by the Transfermarkt portal.
