Football managers are slowly starting to earn more as well, and two of the best managers in the world right now are on the list for the top-earning managers. Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp are considered elite managers, and their friendly rivalry as coaches of Manchester City and Liverpool, respectively, has showcased some great games in the Premier League. Although they are paid highly every month by their clubs, neither of them earns the most out of managers in the top five European leagues.

L'Èquipe reported a list of the top five earning managers in the top five European leagues, and the list has shocked football fans. In 5th place is Chelsea's manager Mauricio Pochettino. On a monthly basis, Pochettino earns around $1 million at Chelsea. Pochettino seems locked in with the team despite not having the best debut season. In 4th place is Massimiliano Allegri from Juventus in the Serie A, who earns around $1.16 million a month. Allegri has Juventus high in the Italian league table as they are third with 59 points, but inconsistent performances could lead to potentially falling out of Champions League positions.

Third on the list is Liverpool's Jurgen Klopp, who earns around $1.5 million a month with The Reds. Klopp will be leaving the club at the end of the season and will likely look for a new challenge in the summer of 2025. Pep Guardiola earns more than him and is second on the list, earning around $2 million a month with Manchester City. Guardiola has guided Man City in another title race and is looking to win four consecutive Premier League, an achievement that has never been done before.

Diego Simeone earns the most out of any manager in the top five European leagues

Atletico Madrid's Diego Simeone earns more than any manager in the top five European leagues, according to L'Èquipe. Simeone earns around $3 million a month with Atletico Madrid. Atletico are 5th in La Liga with 55 points, but they are in the quarterfinals of the Champions League, where they will take on Borussia Dortmund.
