The last few hours have been plagued with sad news for the world of soccer, as one of the most beloved players in Panama and in South America in general has died. This player was remembered for scoring many goals, and also for having managed to represent Panama in a World Cup!
This is Luis Tejada, the former Panama striker who had already retired a few years ago, but who was playing soccer in a friendly tournament on Sundays. Luis Tejada suffered a heart attack at 41 years of age, in a match against veterans.
Luis Tejada is also remembered in Argentina because he played a great game against Lionel Messi in the Copa America United States in 2016. In fact, he had to see how Lionel Messi scored three goals against his team.
