Mundo Deportivo reports that Neymar has won a legal battle in Brazil. A Brazilian court has canceled his €3M fine for the construction of an artificial lake on his estate in Rio. The court decided that no environmental permit was required. In U.S. dollars, the fine was worth $3.19 million and the Brazilian avoided that price, which wouldn't be much for him since he is one of the richest footballers in the world.

France 24 reports that "the town council in Mangaratiba issued four fines for a total of 16 million reais ($3.3 million) for "environmental violations in the construction of an artificial lake at the player's mansion" in the tourist town about 130 kilometers (80 miles) outside of Rio. No environmental license is required for Neymar's activities, and the Brazilian bought the mansions in 2016, which feature a heliport, a spa, and a gym.

More good news: Neymar has been seen kicking a ball once again. Neymar suffered an ACL injury back in October when he played for Brazil in a World Cup qualifier match against Uruguay. He has been sidelined from the football pitch until the rest of the season, and he has slowly been in rehab to recover from the horrible injury. Neymar was juggling a football at the Al Hilal facilities in Saudi Arabia, and this seems like the right step to get closer to playing again.

Neymar celebrated a title with Al Hilal last week
Al Hilal continued to shine without Neymar on the pitch as they won the Saudi Super Cup against Al Ittihad. Al Hilal won 4-1 and celebrated winning the Saudi Super Cup trophy with Neymar. Neymar got to lift the trophy as well and said, "Just like in school, your group does the work, and you collect the grade."
