Kylian Mbappé has reportedly told his entourage that he hopes that he and PSG do not face Real Madrid in the Champions League final at Wembley Stadium. The possibility of that encounter is high since both PSG and Real Madrid are favorites in their respective semi-finals. The Champions League final four will showcase PSG against Borussia Dortmund, while Real Madrid will play against Bayern Munich. Mbappé and his team hope that PSG will advance to the UCL final to play against Bayern Munich. It puts Mbappé in an awkward situation since the French star is rooting for the team against his potential new club.

This won't stop Mbappé's goal from joining Real Madrid this summer as more reports suggest that the French star only wants to join the Spanish giants this summer. His contract with PSG expires this summer, and he would join Madrid as a free agent. Fabrizio Romano reports that Mbappé is very happy with all his exchanges with Real Madrid. It’s only considered a matter of time before the saga is over.

After PSG's 4-1 against FC Barcelona, which led them to win 6-4 on aggregate to advance to the UCL semi-finals, Mbappé was once again asked about his future. When briefly asked if winning the Champions League would affect his decision about the future, Mbappé said no. Many assume the star is talking about his decision to join Real Madrid. Mbappé said, "I’m proud to wear PSG as I'm Parisien. I dream to win Champions League with PSG, we will try to go to Wembley."
