Erling Haaland scores 5 against Luton Town as Man City wins 6-2 in the FA Cup

Manchester City defeats Luton Town 6-2 in the fifth round of the FA Cup in a historic game for Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne. The pair demolished Luton Town as Haaland scored five goals while De Bruyne assisted four of them. Bernardo Silva assisted Haaland's fifth goal of the game. Haaland and De Bruyne started their dominance in the 3rd minute of the game as De Bruyne played it to Haaland in the box and finished it to the left side of the net. Haaland grabbed his second when he was played a great through-ball, and Haaland shot the ball through the legs of Luton Town keeper Tim Krul. The hat-trick for Haaland arrived in the 40th minute when another through ball from De Bruyne sent Haaland on the attack. Haaland chips Krul in the box to complete his 8th hat-trick with Man City.

Luton Town's Jordan Clark gave a spark of hope as his amazing curled shot went in the 45th minute of the first half. Clark sent the ball to the top right corner with City's Ortega beaten. In the second half, in the 52nd minute, Clark controls a great pass by Ross Barkley in the box and smashes the ball past Ortega to make it 3-2. It seemed like Luton Town was going to pull a crazy comeback, but that changed quickly.

Haaland ends the game with five goals in total, while De Bruyne ends with four assists

In the 55th minute, Walker passes a perfect ball to De Bruyne, leading him and Haaland into the box. De Bruyne passes the ball to Haaland, and he taps in his fourth of the game. This was the fourth goal where De Bruyne assisted Haaland in the game. In 12 games, De Bruyne has 11 assists this season in all competitions.

Haaland didn't stop there, as Bernardo Silva played him in the box, and he scored his fifth by shooting the ball through Krul's legs again. It was 5-2 for Man City, but another goal arrived. Mateo Kovacic scored the sixth goal for Man City and made it 6-2 as the Croatian shot from outside the box that went past Krul.
