Manchester United does enough to hold onto the 2-1 lead in the first half. Man United won 2-1 against Luton Town and are now on 44 points in 6th place while Luton Town are still on 20 points in 17th. Man United is only 3 points below Tottenham, who is in 5th place, and only 5 points below 4th-place Aston Villa.

In the first 37 seconds, Rasmus Hojlund scored the opener for Manchester United. Casemiro cleared the ball away from his half, and it fell to Luton Town defender Amari'i Bell. The Jamaican defender accidentally passed the ball to Hojlund, and the Danish striker ran past the Luton Town keeper to score in the empty net. Hojlund broke a record as he became the youngest player in the Premier League to score in six consecutive games.

He scored a brace in the 7th minute after a shot from Garnacho went straight at him and deflected past the keeper. Carlton Morris scored just seven minutes after Hojlund's second goal with a cheeky header past Onana. The goal gave Luton Town a huge boost in confidence as they created many chances to score an equalizer but it didn't arrive.

Bruno Fernandes and Alejandro Garnacho missed two big chances, but they still secured the win

In the 60th minute, Bruno Fernandes goes around the Luton Town keeper. Fernandes goes for the shot into the empty net but Lokonga made a crucial block. It happened again a few minutes later but Garnacho took long to take a shot on target.

In the last minute of the game, Ross Barkley's header from a corner hit the crossbar and couldn't score a late equalizer. Man United wins and gets three important points.
