During the FIFA The Best ceremony, FIFA announced their FIFPRO World XI. The starting XI includes six Manchester City players! Man City now has 12 players in their history to be named in the FIFPRO World XI. Chelsea FC has a record for the players with the most appearances in the World XI. Manchester City is the first English team to have six players named in one team.

Pep Guardiola also won the Best Manager of the Year award. He received the award at the ceremony in London and was later accompanied by Ruben Dias and Kyle Walker. Both players speak highly of the Spaniard manager.

Pep Guardiola had a funny moment on stage when asked who would win between his iconic FC Barcelona team and the current Manchester City team, which responded, "F***."

Walker, Stones, Dias, Bernardo Silva, De Bruyne, and Erling Haaland were in the FIFPRO World XI.

Kyle Walker, John Stones, and Ruben Dias are the defenders of the World XI. Bernardo Silva and Kevin De Bruyne are in the midfield, while Erling Haaland is one of the strikers in the World XI. Six of the 11 players are Manchester City players and are rightfully placed in the lineup after winning the treble. The club won their first Champions League in 2023, along with their third consecutive Premier League and an FA Cup.

Man City is currently second in the Premier League, looking to win the league for the fourth time in a row, an achievement no Premier League club has ever achieved. City also remains in the Champions League and in the FA Cup this year.
