FC Barcelona will need to find a replacement for Xavi as soon as the end of the season approaches. The Catalan club is looking at many names with experience in multiple leagues and wants to bring former players back to the club. Names like Jurgen Klopp, Hansi Flick, Roberto De Zerbi, and Mikel Arteta are linked to the club. FC Barcelona is interested in all these managers replacing Xavi this summer. While the club looks for managers from other leagues, a club legend recommends them a club member that is currently there.

Klopp was crossed off the list since he has repeatedly stated that he will not coach a team or country next season. De Zerbi is a coach FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta is interested in but has a release clause. The Catalan club have reportedly contacted Mikel Arteta from Arsenal, but he is under contract with the London club till next year. Hansi Flick is also a great candidate the club has its eyes on, but his experience in being only in Germany has given Barca second thoughts.

A club legend recently spoke about the Barca situation and was involved in the Champions League Round of 16 yesterday. Barca legend Pedro Rodriguez played for SS Lazio yesterday against Bayern Munich, where they lost 3-0 at the Allianz Arena. Lazio lost 3-1 on aggregate and are out of the Champions League. Pedro played 321 games for FC Barcelona, where he scored 99 goals and provided 62 assists. Pedro won 21 trophies with the Catalan club. He was asked about Xavi and the club and expressed that despite his age, he is open to returning to play for them. Pedro said, "If Xavi calls me, I'll take a quick flight."

Pedro wants to see Rafael Marquez as the replacement for Xavi this summer

When Pedro was asked about who the replacement should be for Xavi this summer, the Spanish winger said, "Rafa Marquez was an incredible player, and now, as a coach, he is doing very well. He will be a solid candidate if Xavi leaves. I wish him luck, and I hope he can be Barca's next coach." Marquez is the coach of Barcelona Atletic.
