FC Barcelona in positive talks to bring in new manager to next season

There are many names of coaches that FC Barcelona is linked to this summer, and the club is unsure of who to pick to replace Xavi. Xavi leaving the club at the end of the season has left Barcelona a tough choice to make that will impact the club in the future. After many names were rumored to join the club, FC Barcelona may have started talks with one of the target managers.

Some names that are linked to FC Barcelona are Hansi Flick, Roberto De Zerbi, Julian Nagelsmann, and Thomas Tuchel. Barcelona is particularly interested in Hansi Flick and Roberto De Zerbi. While De Zerbi has a release clause that needs to be paid, the club is looking further away from him. The club wants to bring in an experienced coach who wouldn't cost a fee.

Santi Aouna reports that Hansi Flick and his agent met the FC Barcelona board a few days ago. Talks were positive between them. In February, Massimiliano Allegri was proposed to FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta, but he's not a priority for Barcelona. The club thinks that Flick brings together a good part of the requirements listed by Deco: the availability given that he is free of contract and the 'first level' because he already won a sextuple with Bayern.

Relevo reports in Barcelona, for the next coach they still have to wait. The club is totally focused on qualifying to the next round of the Champions League. There are many coaches who are currently applying through their agents, but the board has not yet advanced any conversation.
