The news broke out yesterday about Kylian Mbappé reportedly telling PSG that he will leave the club at the end of the season. Mbappé told PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi yesterday that the club will look for reinforcements. Many football fans are speculating that the French striker will finally move to Real Madrid this summer after years of rumors suggesting the move happening.

Mbappé has reportedly also told the rest of his teammates about his decision to leave the club at the team's training today. Fabrizio Romano and Fabrice Hawkins report that Mbappé didn’t mention any detail about his future club to teammates at PSG during today’s speech. In both Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid dressing rooms, the feeling around players is clear; Mbappé will finally join Real Madrid in the summer.

What PSG plans to do is extend the contract of Warren Zaïre-Emery. The verbal agreement is already 100% reached with the player and his agent, Jorge Mendes. It's just about the final review of the contract, and then it will be signed, meaning Zaire-Emery will extend. PSG also wants to extend Xavi Simons' contract, who is currently on loan with RB Leipzig. Simons' contract expires in 2027, and his loan deal with RB Leipzig expires in December 2024. PSG could cut the loan deal short and bring him into the team this summer. PSG wants to sign AC Milan's Rafael Leao and Napoli's Victor Osimhen.

Italian journalist Guillaume MP reports that PSG is ready to pay the release clause of both Rafael Leao [€175m] and Victor Osimhen [€130M] to compensate for the departure of Kylian Mbappé. Mbappé leaving saves the club a lot of money due to his wages. Leao's contract expires in 2028, while Osimhen's contract expires in 2026.
