Barcelona and Manchester United are keeping a close eye on 18-year-old Brazilian talent Thalys, who has been labeled as the "next Endrick". As reported by Diario AS, both big-name clubs are interested in adding Thalys to their ranks, as he is expected to be a leading figure in world soccer in the coming years, being compared to the Palmeiras star.

Thalys joined Palmeiras' youth ranks in 2021 and has shown remarkable progress since then. Although still part of the U-20 team, the Brazilian striker occasionally trains with the first team, although he has yet to make his official debut for the first team. The club has been cautious in his development, preferring not to rush his promotion to the first team and making sure he is fully ready for the challenge.
The young talent is under contract with Palmeiras until 2026, and the Brazilian club is in no rush to negotiate his departure. They believe that Thalys is still in the process of development and will need more time before making the leap to Europe. However, interest from clubs such as Barcelona and Manchester United is raising expectations about his future.

Both clubs are looking to strengthen their attacking lines, and consider that Thalys could be a valuable addition to their squads. Although Palmeiras rejected an offer from an Italian club for the striker last winter, it is expected that in the upcoming transfer windows there will be more interest in Thalys.
