Cristiano Ronaldo may consider staying at Al Nassr for a couple more years if the Saudi Arabian club manages to sign Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne. The Belgian midfielder has caused interest in Saudi Arabia, and the Saudi Pro League is willing to spend more than $2.3 billion to sign Mohammed Salah and De Bruyne this summer. Some rumors have suggested that Al Nassr is looking to bring the midfielder to assist the Portuguese star. Saudi clubs were reportedly offering De Bruyne $75.7 million a year. His current wage at Manchester City is reportedly around $26.2 million a year, according to Capology.com.

The links of De Bruyne going to Saudi Arabia this summer a few months back, and Pep Guardiola even spoke about the rumors. Guardiola said, "It’s a question for him. I'd love that he stays, but I don’t know. I don’t know if he has an offer, I don’t know if Saudi Arabia wants him. I would love for him to stay at [Man] City, of course." Talk Sport reports that Manchester City put a price tag worth $123.6 million for De Bruyne in case Ronaldo's Al Nassr or another Saudi club is willing to sign him. The Belgian midfielder's contract with Man City expires in the summer of 2025.

There is bad news for Ronaldo and Al Nassr since it has been suggested that De Bruyne wants to continue playing at a high level with Manchester City in Europe instead of going to Saudi Arabia. Manchester City correspondent from the Athletic Sam Lee reports that De Bruyne and his family are not really interested in moving to Saudi Arabia and prefer to retire at his current club.

Kevin De Bruyne's season with Manchester City so far

De Bruyne was out of action for the first half of the season after suffering an injury in the first Premier League matchday against Burnley last August. After returning in January, De Bruyne made 18 appearances in all competitions, scoring five goals and 14 assists. His last goal was against Real Madrid in the second leg of the Champions League quarterfinals, where the score was 1-1, 4-4 on aggregate, but they lost 3-4 on penalties to the Spanish giants.
