Cristiano Ronaldo has been the main man at Al Nassr this season as he is the top goalscorer for the team and in the Saudi Pro League. Ronaldo has been enjoying his time on the pitch in Saudi Arabia, but the star who isn’t having a successful season is Karim Benzema, who plays for Al Ittihad. Relevo reported a few days ago that Benzema wants to leave Al Ittihad this summer after just joining from Real Madrid last summer. The French striker signed a contract that expires in June 2026, but if he wants to leave soon, another club that could afford his wages is Ronaldo’s Al Nassr. Benzema is one of the best players in the Saudi Pro League, as he reportedly earns $107 million per year. To bring Benzema to Al Nassr, the CR7′s club would have to pay a transfer fee and offer similar wages for him to join. With Benzema’s will to leave the club as soon as possible, Al Nassr could negotiate for a lower salary than what he earns now.

Benzema joined Al Ittihad last July as a free agent since his contract with Real Madrid expired. His market value is currently at around $15 million, according to Transfermarkt. The 36-year-old striker had a total of 29 appearances in all competitions for Al Ittihad, scoring 13 goals and providing eight assists. A reunion with CR7 would be exciting for many football fans across the world since the two shined together in Real Madrid.

Ronaldo is one of Benzema’s teammates, and he has played the most with him throughout his career. The two played together for a total of 342 matches in all competitions for Real Madrid. Benzema and Ronaldo combined for a total of 76 goals at Real Madrid and won multiple trophies together, like the four Champions League trophies, three FIFA Club World Cups, two La Liga titles, two UEFA Super Cups, and two Spanish Super Cups.
