The title race in the Premier League continues to be tight between Manchester City, Arsenal, and Liverpool. Yesterday in the Premier League, Arsenal and Manchester City won their games convincingly, leaving the pressure on Liverpool, who will play later today. At the moment, Arsenal is top of the Premier League table with 68 points, and Manchester City is third with 67 points. Liverpool are second with 67 points, but with a win against Sheffield United, the Reds will retake their top spot as the league leaders. Arsenal defeated Luton Town 2-0 at home, while Man City won 4-1 against Aston Villa at home. Pep Guardiola spoke after the Man City win over Aston Villa and had a couple of things to say about the title race that angered some Liverpool and Arsenal fans.

Pep Guardiola did not forget the comments about Man City's chances of the Premier League title after the Arsenal game over the weekend. Man City was no longer the favorites for the title after the 0-0 draw against Arsenal, but after the victory against Aston Villa, Man City is now just one point behind the league leaders Arsenal. Guardiola spoke about this and said, "We were out of the title race against Arsenal with the team not playing well. The team was not playing like previous years. Now we've got the best form in the league. Come on, guys."

Guardiola then talked about the possibility of winning the title, even with Liverpool and Arsenal competing for it. Guardiola said, "If we win all our games, it will be down to the last day because they [Arsenal & Liverpool] are not five, six, seven points in front. It will not be easy. I see Liverpool and Arsenal dropping points, but you never know. We have to show up and do our job and don't regret that we should have won that game because they lost the game after. We cannot do anything. We cannot control what they do. We have to win our games, that's all we can do.”
