Chelsea has been inconsistent this season and the fans are not happy at how the team is not competitive in the Premier League and fighting for European places. The club wants that team to qualify for the Champions League, but it seems very complicated. Qualifying for European football outside of the Champions League is still a possibility as they continue to play in the FA Cup. Chelsea are now in the semifinals of the FA Cup after defeating Leicester City 4-2 at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea will face a tough task in the semifinals as they will take on Manchester City at Wembley Stadium next month.

The man of the match for some Chelsea fans was once again Cole Palmer. He scored in the 45th minute and provided the assist to Chelsea's third goal. Palmer spoke after the game and said, "Try and help the team as much as possible, in tough moments, in good moments, that's what I'm there for."

Other players recognized his performance against Leicester City, like Malo Gusto and Carney Chukwuemeka. Palmer assisted Chukwuemeka in the 92nd minute with a backheel pass in the box. Chukwuemeka said, "Cole [Palmer] said to me before the game, if I come on, he will assist me and fair play. His IQ is amazing, I knew as soon as I played it, he would find me. Fair play to him."

Malo Gusto, who won the FA Cup Man of the Match, said, "Cole is a great player. He is doing well, too, and I’m very happy for him to score and assist. He is an important player for us." With all these recognitions, Palmer is about to receive a big wage increase.
