Chelsea recently brought in many players under Todd Boehly. The club has spent over $1 billion in transfers, and now the club is obligated to make funds to avoid breaching FFP rules. The London club has until June 30th to sell players or gain funds in order to avoid a penalty from FFP. The club has already planned to sell one of their loan players this summer, but it won't be enough. The club is now monitoring the sale of the most valuable players in the squad.

On his Here We Go Podcast, Fabrizio Romano spoke about one of Chelsea's loan players currently soon being for sale. Lewis Hall is on loan at Newcastle United, and the club selling Hall to them for $38 million is imminent. Mail reports that Chelsea are preparing for a big summer sale, with Raheem Sterling earmarked to be the first of many to leave the club. Sterling joined Chelsea in the summer of 2022 and joined for around $60 million.

On his podcast, Fabrizio Romano spoke about the Sterling situation at Chelsea, and while the player is focused on Chelsea, a move away is not ruled out. Romano said, "Raheem Sterling is 100% focused on Chelsea, so at the moment, there is absolutely no negotiation with the Saudi club or any other club. The full focus of Raheem Sterling is on Chelsea. We will see in the summer what Chelsea will do in terms of strategy with all their players and with the manager, so there are many things to discuss at the club."
