Robin Van Persie is the Man United legend that will join the training session. According to Laurie Whitewell from the Athletic, the former Manchester United striker returns to the club as part of a UEFA coaching course. Van Persie is at Carrington this week to complete a mandatory element of his UEFA Pro Licence. Erik Ten Hag approved Van Persie's visit. He will be observing first-team training along with two other Dutch courses getting their license.

Van Persie will be at Carrington until Thursday, and as well as observing first-team sessions, will workshop with Ten Hag, assistant Mitchell van der Gaag, and football director John Murtough. He is joined by two other coaches from the Netherlands who are also doing the course. Van Persie can now become another option for Man United in the future in case it doesn't work out with Ten Hag.
