The Saudi Pro League is searching for more world-class players, and this time, it could include a reunion with Cristiano Ronaldo. Al Nassr is interested in signing new players for next season in the summer. After bringing in players like Sadio Mane and Aymeric Laporte, the Saudi Arabian club looks to add another star to the squad to compete for the league.

Although Al Nassr has amazing players in their squad, like Ronaldo, Mane, Laporte, and Brozovic, the team is still second in the league as Al Hilal tops the league table. Al Hilal signed Neymar in the summer, but even though the Brazilian suffered an ACL injury in October, the team topped the league comfortably with 53 points and zero losses. Al Nassr is second with 46 points and needs 8 points to overtake Al Hilal at the top of the Saudi Pro League. Ronaldo's club looks to bring in a former teammate of the Portuguese to join next season.

Al Nassr is targeting Manchester United's Raphael Varane. Varane has played with Ronaldo at Real Madrid and during the Portuguese's second time at Man United. The pair know each other very well, and the move could happen because of Varane's lack of playing time. Man United manager Erik Ten Hag has played Harry Maguire and Lisandro Martinez. With Martinez suffering an injury, Varane is expected to play more again. Varane has been rumored to want to leave Man United, and he could leave the club at the end of the season.

Raphael Varane could be offered triple his current salary with Manchester United at Al Nassr

The Daily Star reports that Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr wants to sign Raphaël Varane and is willing to offer him a deal worth up to £50m a year. Varane is expected to leave Manchester United in the summer, where he currently earns a weekly wage of around 340,000 pounds. Man United would like to take that weekly salary off their wage bill.
