FC Barcelona could listen to offers for Jules Kounde this summer.

FC Barcelona needs to make some sales in order to purchase new players this summer. Barcelona have identified a few players in the squad as 'not for sale'. Since the Catalan club is currently in an economic crisis, the club could slowly solve the issues by selling valuable players they considered 'not needed' for the future.

Some of the players FC Barcelona does not want to sell are Gavi, Pedri, Frenkie de Jong, and Ronald Araujo. These four players are seen as the future of the club and have been important for the team even though the club is pulling off bad results. Despite having a bad season compared to the previous one, they still hope to challenge for La Liga and the Champions League.

One of the players that might not be in the club's plans is Jules Kounde. Kounde joined FC Barcelona from Sevilla for 50 million euros last season. The French defender could leave the club at the end of the season. Mundo Deportivo reports that FC Barcelona will listen to offers for Kounde this summer to raise funds for new players like Joshua Kimmich. Barcelona also suspects that Koundé could listen to offers during the summer. They do not rule out that the Frenchman wants to look for a path to a club where he will play as a central defender. The club still considers Araujo and Christensen as the main centrebacks in the team, while Kounde plays right back, which could be the reason why the French defender could be willing to leave.

Kounde earns a weekly salary of 260,577 euros, and his yearly salary is 13,550,000 million euros. Ilkay Gundogan, Robert Lewandowski, and Frenkie de Jong are the only players who earn more than Kounde in FC Barcelona. Gundogan reportedly earns around 18,750,000 a year while Lewandowski earns 27,080,000 million euros yearly. De Jong earns the most, with a reported 37,500,000 million euros a year.
