Real Madrid has been having trouble deciding who to keep next season as they are set to sign Kylian Mbappé. The club is also interested in Alphonso Davies and Leny Yoro, which means the team will only grow. Real Madrid has a situation they need to deal with before they can sign these young stars. A couple of players' contracts are expiring this summer like Nacho Fernandez, Luka Modric, and Toni Kroos. It is yet confirmed which players the club will decide to renew, but many Real Madrid fans want to keep all of them. It makes sense to keep them as they are legends of the club, but Real Madrid is considering making room for the new players arriving this summer.

Real Madrid has reportedly told Toni Kroos to renew his contract as they are impressed with his performances this season. Kroos was deciding whether to renew or retire from football, as it is something he was seriously considering. The renewal was all in his hands, and unlike Luka Modric, the club is trying to convince this legend to stay. After many reports suggesting Kroos would wait until the end of the season, Kroos appears to have finally made his decision.

Fabrizio Romano reports that Toni Kroos will stay and continue at Real Madrid as a new one-year deal until 2025 is set to be agreed. Direct talks between Kroos and Real Madrid on a contract are now just a formality to sign, which is imminent. Kroos' contract expired last summer, and he signed a one-year contract. The German midfielder's renewal should be announced soon by Real Madrid to make it official.
