In the recent training video Liverpool released, missing players included the injured Joel Matip, Dominik Szoboszlai, Ben Doak, Stefan Bajcetic, and Thiago Alcantara. Thiago Alcantara has missed over 100 games for club and country since he joined Liverpool in 2020. He recently got injured in the game against Arsenal last week after not playing since April 2023. Trent Alexander Arnold was not seen in the video, and Liverpool fans worry that it could mean another injury to the team.

Some of the players who returned to the team training were Alisson Becker, Conor Bradley, and Joe Gomez. Both Joe Gomez and Alisson Becker have recovered from their illness, while Bradley returns after the loss of his father recently. While Trent Alexander Arnold might seem injured, Liverpool finally recovered one of their star players who has been out since the start of January.

Mohamed Salah is seen in the Liverpool training session and could play against Brentford this weekend

Liverpool fans were excited to see Mohamed Salah in the team training. Jurgen Klopp hinted at his return, saying he hoped the player would be back soon, as soon as this week. Salah's last game for Liverpool was the 1st game of 2024 against Newcastle United. He scored a brace and got an assist in that game.

Salah then went to the AFCON Cup with Egypt, but he suffered an injury against Ghana. He now seems to be fully recovered from that hamstring injury and could play against Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium this Saturday.
