PSG's highest paid player is not Messi, what Neymar and Mbappé earn in Paris

It is no surprise to anyone that Paris Saint Germain is one of the most powerful clubs, economically speaking, not only in France, but in the world. This can be seen in the transfer moves they make and in the salaries of their players, who earn stratospheric wages.

The French media L'Equipe revealed a list with the salaries of all the teams in the French league competition, with the Parisian team standing out above the rest. In the list, the French giants have 18 of the 20 highest paid players in Ligue 1.

In the top positions one of the names that appears is that of Neymar Jr, the Brazilian, former FC Barcelona player, has some huge figures, he charges a monthly amount of 4,083,000 euros, which means that per day he earns a ridiculous 136,000 euros. And yearly, Neymar's salary is 50 million euros.

On the podium of the best paid players Neymar is followed by someone who has been a teammate in both France and Spain, the Argentine Leo Messi. The Argentine is paid €3,375,000, which is a daily amount of €112,500. Neymar's salary is only surpassed by his also teammate Kylian Mbappé, who after renewing with the Parisian team established in his contract a salary of 50 million euros per season, being the best paid athlete in the world.

Other PSG on Ligue 1’s list

In this list also appears the Spaniard of Paris Saint Germain, Juan Bernat, occupies the 14th place in the list, with a salary of 730,000 euros, which means that the former Valencia player earns a daily income of 24,300 euros.
