Bernardo Silva would like to leave Manchester City this summer for personal reasons. He wants to finish his time in the Premier League, but his club is not willing to make things easy for him, and even less willing to sell him for a low price, considering him one of the club's greatest assets.

The exit price of the player would range between 85 and 95 million euros, a non-negotiable amount as confirmed by TV3. Barça is aware of the difficulty of the operation, which they consider practically impossible at the moment despite the good will of the player. If there is no reduction or facilities, the blaugrana club sees very complicated his arrival.

Barça is willing to make an important effort for Bernardo Silva. His agent, Jorge Mendes, has been informing about the situation and has also indicated that other clubs such as PSG would be studying his situation. The midfielder wants to be closer to Portugal and sees Barça as a priority option.

That is why Mendes has promised to push for the operation to come to fruition but does not see a possible price reduction as City are not interested in any Blaugrana player to lower the final price of the transfer.

How much would Barcelona be willing to pay for Bernardo.

City paid €50 million, plus €30 million in variables, to Monaco in 2017. Most of these variables have been fulfilled so the investment for the footballer has been very high. Barça’s Xavi Hernandez sees him as a strategic target for the future. Today it is unfeasible to pay an amount close to 100 million euros.
