Juventus awaits huge offers from Bayern Munich and Chelsea for De Ligt

Juventus, who already know that Matthijs de Ligt wants to leave this summer, are currently waiting for Chelsea and Bayern, the two main clubs interested in acquiring the services of the Dutch defender, to make their respective official offers for the player.

Days ago Italian media assured that 80 million euros is the figure that Juventus is asking for De Ligt, who turns 23 on August and arrived at Juventus in 2019 for after a 75 million euro deal with Ajax.

The truth is that De Ligt prefers to go to Bayern and even already reached an agreement with the German club, but there is a lack of agreement between clubs. As reported on Tuesday by Sport1, representatives of the former Ajax captain met with Bayern and reached a deal for DeLigt to join the German champions.

According to Fabrizio Romano, while waiting to receive these offers, Juventus will activate in the next few hours the possible signing of Napoli center-back Kalidou Koulibaly, 31, who has one year left on his contract with the Italian club. The offer would be around 30 million euros.

How much is De Ligt worth?

The main obstacle for the Munich board is the financial aspect. Juve, aware that they paid a total of 85 million euros for the Dutch defender, who still has a contract until 2024, wants to collect a huge amount for the player. From Italy they point to around 100 million euros, although the operation could end up closing for around 80 million euro, a figure they can hardly reach in the offices of the Allianz. Chelsea, Bayern's main rival, is also in the bidding.
