His friend and advisor, Tomas Zawislak,  made it clear that the striker has never thought about not training with Bayern despite ongoing negotiations. His circle claims that the player has received threats after expressing his desire to leave Munich.

Robert Lewandowski is due to join Bayern on July 12 if there is no agreement with FC Barcelona on his transfer, which is unlikely at the moment due to the distance between the clubs.

There has been much speculation about how the player will act in the coming days, but his closest relations give a clear message: Lewandowski will not make any kind of strike to put pressure on his current club. This is what his friend and advisor, Tomas Zawislak, assures in declarations to the newspaper 'Bild'. "I don't know where these rumors about a strike come from. There has never been this thought."

Zawislak explains that Lewandowski is trying to handle the issue naturally, but that there are certain sectors that are taking advantage of his desire to sign for Barça to attack the player. "Since Robert said he would not renew, there have been deceptions spread to hurt him and create resentment. There has been hatred and serious threats on social media with all these issues," he said.

Lewandowski's advisor asks for respect:

"Playing with emotions is a part of soccer, but everything has limits. It is true that no player is above a club, but clubs are not above people either. At the moment they are talking and negotiating and there can be different scenarios. It is normal for a player to want to go to another club. Bayern also signs players from other clubs and nothing happens. This is soccer and that's the way things should be done.”

It seems that if there is no agreement, Lewandowski will have to return to Munich to train for a few days.
