The defeat against Real Madrid in the final of the Champions League didn’t sit well in Liverpool, as just a few days after the game they are ready to start signing players to strengthen the squad before the preseason starts.

The reason why Sadio Mané hasn’t yet signed with Bayern Munich

Jürgen Klopp knows that they have the chance of fighting again for both Premier League and Champions League next season, but with key players entering their last year of contract, he knows that this is the last chance of earning something back for them.

But the potential departure of players like Sadio Mané, Roberto Firmino, and Mohamed Salah, have made Klopp to start looking for replacements ahead of time, and now that he set his eyes in Tottenham Hotspur’s Heung-Min Son, he’s willing to trade three players for his signing.

Who are the players that he wants to trade?

Jürgen Klopp knows that it will not be easy to convince Tottenham to let go one of the best players on their roster, which is why, according to reports from Express Sport, the German coach is looking to swap players to convince the Spurs to part ways with the South Korean international.

The 29-year-old left-winger, who was the 2021-22 Premier League Golden Boot along Salah, as they scored 23 goals each, has a current market value of $85 million, although given that he’s a key player for Antonio Conte, his price will be over $100 million.

That’s why Klopp is willing to send three players to the Spurs for Heung-min Son: Sadio Mané, Roberto Firmino -both of them finish their contract next season-, and Diogo Jota, who will lose protagonism with the arrival of the South Korean international.
