Nathan Benjamin Aké is the first name chosen to rebuild Chelsea's defense, which this summer has already said goodbye to Christensen and Rüdiger, and may have to say goodbye to Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso. That is why they have not waited any longer and it appears that Chelsea will make official —in the coming days— the incorporation of the City center-back.

Chelsea continues its particular journey in search of new defenders, and the Blues' backline could be completely dismantled by the end of the current transfer window. That is why the English club is looking for several additions in defense, among which stand out the names of both Kimpembe and Jules Koundé, in addition to Matthijs De Ligt, but apparently the latter prefers to leave for Bayern Munich.

But one of Thomas Tuchel's targets was Nathan Aké, and the Manchester City defender has long been on the wish list of the Londoners, who are getting closer and closer to signing him. Aké can play both at center-back and left-back, so he offers great versatility, as well as a quality defensive guarantee.

City's asking price for Aké

According to specialized journalist Fabrizio Romano, the deal for the Dutch defender will be closed for between 47 and 53 million euros.

If Chelsea finally completes the transfer, the Citizen team will move on to find a new replacement for the Dutch defender. Chelsea have already reached an agreement on personal terms with the Dutch player, so now it only remains to confirm the success of the negotiations with Pep Guardiola's team.
