Javier Hernández Balcázar scores in the Portland Timbers vs LA Galaxy game. How many goals has he scored in MLS 2022?

This time, unfortunately for the Los Angeles Football Club, Carlos Vela could not play an important role on the scoreboard and LAFC's goal came from Cristian Arango.

The match was hard-fought from start to finish, but in the end only one of the two Mexicans on the field was able to make a difference, proving that Javier Hernández Balcázar is the most lethal Mexican striker in MLS.

This was Chicharito's goal, with which the LA Galaxy beat LAFC

The match started intensely and in the 5th minute, the pressure began to be felt in the game when Chicharito was fouled and received a foul on the edge of the area.

However, the Galaxy's free-kick was deflected by the wall, in what was the first attack by the home team. But the match continued to be intense and unfortunately, that came at a cost to LAFC.

In the 11th minute, Uruguay's Paul Brian Rodriguez was forced off the field with an injury and Ismael Tajouri-Shradi came on in his place. And the intensity of the match peaked in the 13th minute.

In that minute, Javier Hernandez scored after a great cross from Vasquez that the Mexican headed in for his fifth goal of the season, putting the LA Galaxy in control of the match.

Séga Coulibaly also scored for the LA Galaxy to beat LAFC

Chicharito was not the only Galaxy player to score, as in the 31st minute, in a brilliant team move, Séga Coulibaly made it 2-0 for the home team to secure the win in the Traffic Classic.

Before Coulibaly's goal, there was another LAFC goal, but this one was disallowed due to offside. Had it fallen, it would have meant Carlos Vela's goal in this duel, which would have raised the intensity of the match.

Cristian Arango scored for LAFC, but it was not enough

LAFC wasn't going to stand by and watch the Galaxy win the Traffic Classic, so they spent the entire first half and part of the second half trying to score to close the gap between themselves and Gregg Vanney's team.

And this effort was rewarded in the 79th minute when after insisting on several occasions, Carlos Vela's team managed to get on the scoreboard.

After a mistake by the newly introduced Nick Depuy, who did not mark well, and another save by Bond, the ball fell to Arango, who made the score 2-1.

But this effort was not enough because time ran out and the Traffic Classic remained in the hands of the LA Galaxy. Here are the highlights of the match.
