Pérez has completed his soccer process with the Los Angeles Galaxy and hopes to be an important player for the MLS club.

“At 14 years old I came to the Galaxy and it was not easy, it is a very good team, there are very good players and I work hard every day, I did the whole process and right now at 16 years old I signed with them and at 17-18 years I was promoted to the second team and then to the first team. Now I am working and still waiting for an opportunity in the first team”, said Jonathan Pérez.

Who is Jonathan Perez?

Pérez played for the United States National Team at the age of 16 but finally preferred to play with the Mexican National Team where he feels happier.

“Mexico gave me the opportunity and the first time I came here I felt very comfortable. Obviously the language is different and that's a big factor for me. During the time I am speaking it more and I felt more comfortable speaking Spanish and I also felt comfortable playing here”.
