The young Mexican Juan José Sánchez Purata left Liga MX's Tigres to play on loan with MLS's Atlanta United. This will be his first experience outside of Mexico.

Juan José Sánchez Pirata has only been in the United States for a few days and has already shown his happiness at playing in the MLS.

"I think I already needed this jump and this change. I like challenges, I don't like to push myself, I like to improve day by day and this opportunity presented itself and I didn't think twice, I said 'let's go there, let's grow at a country and a new league and a team as important as Atlanta.

Juan José Sánchez Purata is happy at Atlanta United

Juan José Sánchez Purata recognized that he was not comfortable in the Tigres due to the little activity that he had in the club. Now at Atlanta United he hopes to have more opportunities.

"The truth is that I didn't think twice and fortunately it was possible, it was a bit laborious, but at the end of the day, both Tigres and Atlanta and I did the right thing and came out winning all three parts and I'm very happy."
