Everything was set for Toronto FC to be the leaders of the MLS table, but they did not count with the effectiveness of Philadelphia. Jim Curtin’s team made his best performance at the ideal time and his star Mark McKenzie is becoming one of the best players of the league.

After 90 minutes, McKenzie ended up with one goal, 4 clearances, 2 interceptions, 2 tackles won and 7 out of 7 duels won. This outstanding stats made him a target of Europe big teams. It is a matter of time until Philadelphia gets a formal offer for the 21-year-old defender.

The main interested came from Celtic, the Scottish team, they are willing to pay $8 millions for McKenzie. Although, Mark has been performing so well that the fans are saying that he deserves a place on a strong European team like FC Barcelona or Liverpool because of passing stats.

The Union is right now the top team of the MLS and Mark McKenzie has the whole Playoffs to demonstrate why he is one of the best US prospects. A good postseason could mean to him a passport to Europe and to the USMNT.
