The photos provided by Beckham reveal the early stages of the stadium's development, with structural elements beginning to take shape. The project, which is designed to be a 25,000-seat soccer-specific stadium, aims to provide a state-of-the-art facility for the Major League Soccer (MLS) club.

Miami Freedom Park is planned to be more than just a stadium. The extensive development is set to include 58 acres of public parks and green space, along with a tech hub, restaurants, shops, and community soccer fields. This comprehensive vision reflects Inter Miami's broader commitment to creating a lasting legacy for the community of Miami and South Florida.

Since its founding in 2018, Inter Miami has played its home matches at Chase Stadium (formerly DRV PNK Stadium) in Fort Lauderdale. This venue was always intended to be a temporary solution until a permanent home in Miami could be established. The construction of Miami Freedom Park at the site of the former Melreese Golf Course, near Miami International Airport, marks a significant step towards realizing this long-held goal.

The inauguration of Miami Freedom Park is currently slated for early 2026. This timeline is set to coincide with the MLS season that year, allowing Inter Miami to begin playing their home matches in their new stadium. The project, which broke ground in August 2023, is privately funded by the club's ownership, including Beckham himself.
