What were the MLS Matchday 5 Scores?

The Week 5 duels left some surprises for some clubs, while others were able to improve their standing from Week 4. But two clubs have established themselves as the best in the tournament.

In the Eastern Conference, Philadelphia Union reigns supreme, while in the Western Conference, LAFC remains at the top, and no one can overshadow them.

The Union's closest pursuer in the Eastern Conference is the New York Red Bulls, a club that if they defeat CF Montréal tomorrow, could move closer to the leader, but it is worth remembering that the Union goes against the Columbus Crew.

So if they stumble, RB could close in on them and be 1 point behind the leader. But in the Western Conference, the battle is a bit more fierce as LAFC is closely followed by Real Salt Lake. 

The Claret and Cobalt are just one win away from catching Los Angeles Football Club, which will face a tough test this weekend against LA Galaxy, so there will be a duel of Mexican scorers in MLS.
