But the Galaxy isn't the only team looking to surprise with out-of-the-box signings in MLS 2022, as the club's deep interest in Carlos Tevez has been reported. 

While it has been two weeks since this information came to light and there has been nothing concrete, according to The Athletic, Felipe Cardenas and Pablo Maurer note that there is a "25 percent" chance that Tevez's addition by the club from the U.S. capital will happen. 

If Tevez's arrival becomes a reality, it could even overshadow Lorenzo Insigne's legacy at Toronto FC.
