LA Galaxy extended their good streak in the preseason ahead of the start of the MLS season and after the win against Toronto FC, the team coached by Greg Vanney defeated Bruce Arena's New England Revolution in a resounding manner.

Kevin Cabral stood out in the match

One of the players who stole the spotlight in Saturday night's match was Kevin Cabral, who contributed two of the four goals that Los Angeles scored against the Revs.

However, for the second game of the preseason, Mexican striker Javier 'Chicharito' Hernández was once again on the pitch and although he did not score as he did against Toronto, he did provide an assist for the first goal of the game.

Hernandez's assist came in the 12th minute of the match when the Mexican striker slipped a ball into the box, which was not wasted by youngster Kevin Cabral to score his first goal of the night.

Julián Araujo also provided an assist

Mexican national team player Julián Araujo was also present in the LA Galaxy's victory over the New England Revolution and with a good cross from the wide right found Kevin Cabral to score the second goal just 2 minutes into the second half.

Dejan Joveljic's 63rd-minute goal and an own goal by Jon Bell with 20 minutes remaining sealed the second preseason victory for the Angelinos.

What’s next for LA Galaxy?

The LA Galaxy now travels to Indio, Calif., for closed-door matches against Seattle Sounders FC (Thursday, Feb. 10) and New York Red Bulls (Sunday, Feb. 13) as part of the Coachella Valley Invitational.

The team will then return to Carson to face Vancouver Whitecaps FC in a closed-door match on Wednesday, Feb. 16 before closing out preseason preparations against D.C. United on Saturday, Feb. 19 at Dignity Health Sports Park.

LA Galaxy are looking strong for this MLS campaign. They have won both of their preseason matches: 5-4 against Toronto and 4-0 against the New England Revolution.

The aim is the MLS title. And in three weeks they will have the opportunity to take the first step against the reigning champions, New York City FC.
