As part of the rebuilding process going on in Houston Dynamo, after the signing of Pablo Nagamura as Dynamo’s coach, the Orange has made official the acquisition of Sebastián Ferreira out of Paraguayan side Club Libertad Asunción.
The 23-year-old striker will join Houston Dynamo as Designated Player in a 4-year deal with the option to extend it a year more in a record-transfer worth $4.5 million for both Houston Dynamo the highest acquisition in their history-, and Libertad -the highest sell the team has ever made-.
Ferreira said he was very excited to join the club and grateful for the vote of confidence both coach and staff placed on him. “This is an ambitious club and as a player you want to be a part of that. I’m grateful for the opportunity and excited to represent the club.”
