Carlos Vela is happy to renew with Los Angeles Football Club until 2023. The Mexican striker is considered by many to be the best player in MLS and is one of the stars of the League. He now he will seek to give LAFC a championship.

Carlos Vela acknowledged that he had offers from Liga MX teams, but he never analyzed them because his priority was to stay in LAFC and he even thought about being able to return to play in Europe.

"The first thing yes, I had an offer, I spoke with teams from Mexico, but as I always said, my first option was to stay in Los Angeles and if that didn't happen, my second option was to look at the options in Europe, yes I had approached teams Mexicans, but I did not contemplate, it was not one of the main places where I wanted to continue my career”, said Carlos Vela.
