Hirving Lozano couldn’t finish the game against Panama

It’s becoming more usual to see Lozano leave the pitch this way every time he plays for Mexico National Team against CONCACAF teams. For this occasion, Lozano will miss the next games of SSC Napoli against FC Barcelona in Europa League.

The first reports points out that the 26-year-old right-striker suffered a shoulder dislocation, which turned out to be more delicate than what it was thought to be, as the paramedics couldn’t relocate his extremity. Lozano had to be taken to the nearest hospital to get his shoulder checked more in depth.

According to the first diagnostic given by the doctors, it is believed that “Chucky” Lozano will be out of the pitches at least 12 weeks until he fully heals, but if needed, he can start having physical activities after the 8th week.

Will Napoli miss the Mexican winger?

Hirving Lozano will miss at least 8 games for the Azzurri, who currently are on the mix to win Serie A, as they’re standing second on the Italian top flight, just 4 points behind Inter Milan, team which they’ll receive in two weeks, in a match that could decide the next champion of Italy.

The Azzurri are also set to face FC Barcelona in the round of 32 of Europa League, as they’ll visit Camp Nou on February 17 and a week later, on February 24, they’ll receive the Blaugrana squad in Estadio San Paolo. They’ll have to play those matches without the Mexican on the pitch.

Can he make it to the next FIFA match window?

If his injury extends the 3 months, Lozano will also miss the last FIFA match window set to be played on March, in which Mexico will face USMNT in Estadio Azteca in the first of the last three matches. El Tri will close the FIFA Qualifiers at home, receiving El Salvador.

Prior to that game, El Tri will also visit Honduras who, although it’s a complicated rival for the Aztecs, are going through one of their worst streaks in recent years, as they currently stand last on the World Cup Qualifiers and were the first CONCACAF team eliminated from the competition.
