Although Guillermo Ochoa has been a reliable goalkeeper throughout his career, it’s no surprise that the 36-year-old goalkeeper is on his last years as a professional soccer player. And although he’ll probably be part of the starting XI in the 2022 FIFA World Cup, this might be his last world Cup.

Needless to say, Ochoa also knows he has to take advantage of his position as goalkeeper of El Tri and Club América, which is why he’s usually seen on TV spots and promoting his own brands, just like today he unveiled his official website.

Meanwhile, Carlos Acevedo, Santos Laguna goalkeeper, keeps preparing not only for the upcoming Liga MX matches, but for an eventual call to Mexico National Team, as he currently is on of Mexico’s best goalkeepers in Liga MX, and with only 25 years, he aims to become the next goalkeeper of El Tri.

Who is Carlos Acevedo?

Carlos Acevedo was born in Torreón, Coahuila, in 1996. He’s a homegrown player for Santos Laguna and he joined the senior team back in 2017. He became Santos’s goalkeeper for Clausura 2020. His current market value is set at $5.7 million and is under contract with Los Laguneros until 2025.
