Today the 2026 World Cup announced its stadiums with eleven stadiums in the USA, three in Mexico, and two in Canada, in Mexico the chosen ones were the Azteca Stadium in Mexico City, The Akron Stadium in Guadalajara, and the BBVA Stadium in Monterrey.
But there was a very good stadium that was left out and I´m talking about the Cuauhtemoc Stadium in Puebla, a beautiful stadium that has something more to offer than the BMO field in Toronto, which only counts 30  thousand seats and used to be a baseball stadium.

More World Cup news:

US$28.75 billion is being spent on remodeling the Azteca stadium and it is already known whether or not the 2026 World Cup final will be played in Mexico City

Puebla is a city filled with football history and has hosted two world cups, legends like Diego Armando Maradona had play there, and the Italian national team from 1970 that reached the final.

While on the other side BMO park has only hosted CONCACAF Champions League matches, women's u17 world cup matches, and Canadien soccer league ones, not to mention that in Canada, soccer is their fourth sport after Hockey, Basketball, and Baseball.

It was fair to leave Puebla out?

The Cuauhtemoc stadium was remodeled in 2015, while Toronto´s one was remodeled in 1999 and has 20,000 fewer seats, we don´t understand why FIFA would give a country where soccer it´s not popular a World Cup Stadium and left out a city with a lot of tradition
