The Mexican was on hand to open the scoring for the Gunners two minutes into the game when teammate Alex Kirk sent a headed pass to Flores inside the box after Bournemouth failed to clear Omari Hutchinson's initial free-kick.

From Kirk's pass, Marcelo had no trouble finding the bottom corner of the opposition's goal with a precise left-footed finish to open the game's scoring.

The fourth goal of the match was also the result of a great team play in which the Mexican was in charge of defining with a powerful shot at the end of the match. 

The young Arsenal U23 star capped off another well-crafted team move, with the 16-year-old Cozier-Duberry taking center stage.
