It’s clear that things inside Mexico National Team are not working. Whether is the coach who isn’t taking the right decisions, the players that are not playing up to the standards needed of them or even the sponsors who are taking time away from training sessions in order to record TV spots.

At this point of the FIFA World Cup Qualification, the easiest thing to resolve is changing the coach, which not only followers but also analysts have been asking about, given that Gerardo “Tata” Martino appears to be stuck with the same players that don’t give the needed results.

Reports suggest that FMF is already looking for a replacement for Martino, and even though he’s declined coaching Mexico National Team in the past, after leaving Tigres, for Ricardo “Tuca” Ferretti El Tri is the only thing that could give him the satisfactions he still has to achieve in his career.

What does Ferretti ask to become El Tri coach?

“El Tuca” has said during interviews that he doesn’t need money, luxury cars or any material stuff -given that he already has all of that after his stint with Tigres-, but he requests FMF to make El Tri play in Copa América again and for Liga MX teams to join Copa Libertadores, as it will give them a bigger challenge than just the domestic league.
